Virtual Yoga Informed Psychotherapy

My services are offered remotely, and only to Ontario Residents who are seeking support and are motivated to start their healing journey.

I combine Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) which is an evidence-based model of therapy with the Philosophy and Practice of Yoga to facilitate individuals to explore, learn and develop new strategies to assist them with navigating the ever so many changing situations life brings us.

Now, you are thinking where does Yoga fit into this style of therapy? Well, DBT skills have a focus on mindfulness, and by exploring your body, mind, and spirit through the Philosophy and Practice of Yoga; you are developing skills that will assist in life’s journey as well as a deepened sense of self-awareness and mindfulness.

What happens during a session?

In session with me you will experience authenticity, caring, compassion and authentic conversations, and of course, YOGA! The end goal of therapy is to not only meet your goals, but to also strengthen your body, mind and spirit connection in order to allow your whole self to guide your practice-.

The style of Yoga is determined by you, but Yin Yoga is incorporated into all sessions and styles.

Discovery and Intake Session (1st session)

  • explore and discover you
  • explore and discover the philosophy and practice of yoga
  • explore your goals, outcomes and timelines

Consecutive Sessions

  • personalized and structured around your healing goals, outcomes, and timelines
  • yoga practices are tailored to your healing goals and outcomes

Group Sessions

  • two types of group sessions: Pre-Teen/Teen and Women
  • tailored to the group based on the common theme being exploring (life skills, menopause, puberty, and so much more).

*There is a minimum of 3 participants for group sessions* 

Short Term Therapy

      • Weekly and Bi-weekly sessions lasting 6- 12 weeks with a focus on learning skills and applying them in your life
      • Weekly and Biweekly sessions lasting 2-4 sessions to help with a specific focus

Long-Term Therapy

      • Weekly, Biweekly, or Monthly to assist with maintenance and adjust personalized yoga based on focus

Pricing

      • Individual Session (50 minutes)- $150 per session
      • Individual Session (75 minutes)- $160 per session
      • Individual Session (90 minutes)- $170 per session
      • Pre-teen and Teen (10 years and older) Group Sessions- $100 per Yogi
      • Women’s Group Sessions- $100 per Yogi

*At this time, I do not provide services to children ages 0-10, or Couples*
